you can go straight to it, but a word of caution. There was a bug or a field notice in 15.2.4.E something. when upgrading to that version, there was also some firmware microcode updates as part of upgrading to this version. a lot of upgrades bricked the switch when done via reload command. If I recall correctly, the bug said to first upgrade to 12.2.2-e9. It's been a while.
but unless I have a switch that is at 15.2.2-e8, I don't upgrade them via the CLI. I rely on the power grid or remote contact to pull the plug. anything after 15.2.2-e8 has worked fine via CLI reload.
